This is certainly a very interesting and cleverly designed paperweight to add to your collection. It was made by the glass maestro at Caithness Glass, Alastair MacIntosh This one is called Exuberance
This lovely weight when viewed from the side looks very simple in structure - but when viewed through the flat polished facet of a viewing window - it becomes very dramatic in design. There is an air bubble in the centre and behind and around this is a pale sky blue and royal blue swirling vortex - and further back is a mottled blue background - there are two angled facets on this weight - and the base facet tips back the weight and angles the larger viewing facet to the front - these facets cause refractions in the weight and causes a busy mirror effect to an otherwise simple internal layout. 
This paperweight comes with its original plastic stand and a Caithness card that describes the design inspiration
